The road back

It finally feels like we are on the road back to life as we knew it! It was such an exciting week! Elizabeth meet with the neuro rehab Dr at the hospital and is going to start PT at a special facility that deals specifically with neuro trauma. She walks fairly well, but we found out at her evaluation that she has a lot more weakness in her leg and hip muscles that we had supposed because she has been able to compensate pretty well to find a way to walk. On another happy note, her eyebrows and eyelashes are growing back already!  Elizabeth also had her first dental visit since her cancer diagnosis and had NO CAVITIES! Truly a miracle! Chemo is very hard on teeth and she does have some teeth staining from it, but we are so thankful that she was able to avoid cavities! Today we drove to our family reunion at the Lazy H Ranch in Atlanta Idaho and we are sooo excited to be here! This was one big thing that we've been hoping she could make it to these many long months of cancer treatment. The road has been long, but the miracles are constant.
